Job Overview
DPR Construction is in search of a Construction Project Coordinator with a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction.

Key Responsibilities
The Construction Project Coordinator will engage in commercial projects across our primary sectors:
healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, life sciences, and commercial.

The role involves close collaboration with all project team members and encompasses the following duties:


- Active participation in implementing DPR's Environmental Health and Safety Plan to ensure a consistently injury-free workplace, including conducting weekly safety audits.

- Understanding and enforcing contractual agreements, including those between DPR and subcontractors, as well as DPR and the client.
- Assisting the project manager and superintendent in executing DPR policies and managing project operations.
- Organizing the responsibilities of other engineers, field office coordinators, project accountants, and other assigned personnel, providing direction, prioritization, and performance feedback.
- Engaging in training sessions and company meetings to foster personal and organizational growth.
- Systematically organizing and electronically archiving project documentation for easy access by the project team.
- Preparing, monitoring, and updating project timelines, collaborating with the superintendent to mitigate project constraints' effects on the schedule.

- Managing various document control processes, including daily reports, material procurement logs, submittal logs, as-built records, testing and inspection logs, RFI logs, and change order logs.

- Distributing updated drawings, changes, approved submittals, RFI responses, and other pertinent project information to all relevant parties.
- Identifying, assembling, negotiating, and disseminating change orders to both the client and subcontractors.

- Preparing agendas, documents, meeting minutes, and action items for various meetings, including owner/architect/contractor meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, safety meetings, and staff meetings.

- Participating in project cost management, maintaining internal records, and collaborating with subcontractors to ensure changes are compensated.

- Compiling owner billing by gathering DPR costs, reviewing subcontractor invoices, and organizing documentation in line with the owner's specifications.

- Monitoring testing and inspection records, safety inspection reports, accident logs, and building permit inspections and approvals.

Qualifications

- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- The ability to identify and resolve complex challenges.
- Effective participation in a team-oriented environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (CMiC, Prolog or similar), scheduling software (Primavera or similar), and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or similar).

- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a project engineer, preferably within DPR's core sectors.
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
- A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a passion for the construction industry.
