Position Overview

DPR Construction is in search of a seasoned Project Manager with at least 5 years of experience in Electrical Commercial Construction.

This pivotal role entails guiding the project team to ensure timely completion of projects while upholding exceptional standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. The Project Manager will oversee daily operations, project controls, engineering, financial management, and risk assessment associated with electrical commercial projects in key sectors such as Healthcare, Advanced Technology, Life Sciences, Higher Education, and Commercial.

The Project Manager will collaborate closely with all members of the Project Team, including Project Executives and Regional Leadership, and will be responsible for the following:
  • Exhibit a strong understanding and commitment to the vision and mission of DPR Construction.
  • Oversee all Project Team Members, including Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Field Office Coordinators.
  • Mentor and develop team members to foster rapid professional growth.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of project scope and requirements.
  • Manage cost control, billing, and collections for assigned projects.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients and architects.
  • Support and challenge jobsite teams and self-perform work efforts.
  • Ensure accountability for project completion, financial performance, critical success factors, and client satisfaction metrics.
Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (such as Prolog), accounting software (like CMIC), and scheduling tools (such as Primavera).
  • Experience managing multiple complex, highly technical projects, preferably within core markets.
  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A robust work ethic coupled with a proactive attitude.
  • A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in Electrical Commercial Construction.
