About the Role

The General Manager is the leader of the restaurant management team, responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining financial controls, and ensuring customer expectations are exceeded. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules, interviewing and hiring team members, and ensuring proper food handling and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain day-to-day financial controls, including managing budgets and controlling costs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Lead and manage a team of restaurant staff, providing coaching, counseling, and development opportunities.
  • Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in high-volume food service concepts, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and possession of all required documents.
  • Able to walk and stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
