Position Summary:

The Quick Service Restaurant Operations Manager serves as the primary leader of the establishment, concentrating on financial performance, customer satisfaction, team development, and operational excellence. This role involves overseeing a single restaurant location while fostering an inviting atmosphere for community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Performance

  • Accountable for the restaurant's profit and loss (P&L) and actively works towards achieving financial goals
  • Boosts sales through exceptional guest service, team development, and effective operations management

Customer Experience

  • Inspires and guides team members to surpass customer expectations with prompt, friendly, and efficient service in a well-maintained environment
  • Enhances customer satisfaction by swiftly addressing and resolving any issues or concerns
  • Engages with the local community to attract potential customers and implement marketing strategies

Team Development

  • Oversees the recruitment and selection process to build a skilled and dedicated restaurant team
  • Facilitates the onboarding of new team members through comprehensive training and certification
  • Motivates the restaurant team by managing recognition programs effectively
  • Provides constructive feedback and coaching to enhance team performance and capabilities

Operational Management

  • Optimizes labor management through effective staffing and scheduling
  • Ensures compliance with regulations, employment laws, and company policies while maintaining operational standards
  • Assumes responsibilities of Assistant Manager and Team Leads as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum age of eighteen (18) years
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (1-2 years in Quick Service Restaurant)
  • Strong grasp of P&L management and factors influencing restaurant profitability
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet objectives
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and understanding of customer service principles
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to work extended or irregular hours as necessary for restaurant operations

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience
