Job Title: Consulting Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and train internal staff and accounting personnel at client offices.
  • Provide financial statement analysis, including developing management reports and KPIs.
  • Assist with developing GAAP financial statements, including preparation of bank reconciliations, analysis of accounts receivable and allowance for doubtful accounts, and analysis of prepaid expenses.
  • Evaluate and recognize improvements to systems and processes within an accounting function to ensure proper internal controls.
  • Assist with preparation of financial projections and forecasts, including analysis of budget to actual results.
  • Participate with the Assurance department and assist with preparation, compilation, or review engagements.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience working in a public accounting firm or experience as a full-charge bookkeeper, assistant controller, or controller within an accounting department in industry.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire.
  • Manufacturing and Distribution experience is a plus.
Skills:
  • Experience with QuickBooks required.
  • Experience with other ERP systems like NetSuite is a plus.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookup and pivot tables.
  • Outstanding organization and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate priorities with the help of more senior members of the team.
  • Highly motivated and takes initiative for professional growth and development.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues internally and with clients.
  • Positive attitude and excitement to learn.
  • Ability to travel to client locations.
  • Ability to work overtime, as needed.
