Position Overview:
We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Leader for our 168-unit Family Community, Silverado Creek, located in Sacramento-Elk Grove, CA. This role will report directly to the Community Manager. This is a non-exempt position with a standard Monday through Friday work schedule, though some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate occasional overtime, weekend work, and on-call maintenance emergencies. A competitive salary will be offered, commensurate with experience, ranging from $27 to $29 per hour. The Facilities Maintenance Leader may be required to reside on-site to fulfill USA Multifamily Management Inc.'s legal obligations regarding maintenance personnel availability. An on-site two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment may be provided at no cost.

Key Responsibilities:
The Facilities Maintenance Leader is tasked with ensuring the physical integrity of the community at all times. This includes maintaining a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues. The leader will proactively identify, address, and rectify any issues related to the property while implementing preventive measures to avoid future problems. An effective maintenance program is crucial for ensuring safety, enhancing resident satisfaction, and protecting the property owner's investment.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in maintenance, preferably in an apartment maintenance context.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Experience & Education:
- Supervisory experience in maintenance, ideally within an apartment community setting.
- Skills in plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Light carpentry abilities.
- Experience with glass and screen replacements.
- Proficiency in unit turns, painting, and cleaning.
