The Elk Grove Unified School District is seeking a dedicated Substitute Custodian I to support our Maintenance and Operations team within the Custodial Services department. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our educational facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of school facilities.
- Assist in the preparation of facilities for various events and activities.
- Support the full-time custodial staff in their duties as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing custodial duties.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in custodial or maintenance roles is preferred but not required.
