Job Description

At Balcones Recycling San Antonio, we are seeking a highly skilled Materials Recovery Facility Operations Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of our Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) to ensure the highest standards are followed in order to ensure safety and improve production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and oversee the execution of procedures to maximize productivity and efficiency of the location.
  • Supervise and manage daily schedules of employees and operations.
  • Ensure efficient and safe operation of the site.
  • Enforce Balcones safety rules and regulations.
  • Investigate and complete reports of hazard identifications and work-related incidents.

Requirements:

  • Prior supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
  • Experience in the Recycling industry preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Regular use of hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls.
  • Exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas.
  • Exposure to residential and commercial recyclables and waste.
