Job Summary

The Facilities Operations Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. This position is responsible for the timely pick-up and delivery of parts, materials, and other necessary items. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for daily cleaning tasks, including wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and pick up parts and equipment from various locations, ensuring timely and accurate transportation to support operational needs.
  • Responsible for obtaining signatures for all deliveries, ensuring proper documentation and accountability.
  • Verify lunch orders during pick-up and deliver lunches daily, ensuring accuracy and timely service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of Runner Truck inside and outside.
  • Ensure vehicle registration is current and up to date, maintaining compliance with legal and operational requirements.
  • Adhere to daily instructions communicated on the dry erase board, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilize most efficient routes, drive safely, and return promptly from deliveries and errands.
  • Sweep, vacuum, and mop assigned areas twice daily to ensure cleanliness and a safe environment.
  • Conduct daily cleaning of toilets, seats, sinks, and surfaces in all bathrooms, maintaining a hygienic and sanitary environment.
  • Collect and dispose of all trash and recycling from desks and breakrooms daily, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Wipe down tables and countertops in all breakrooms to maintain cleanliness and a welcoming environment.
  • Restock toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, and vending machines as needed.
  • Check and/or replace air filters throughout the office weekly.
  • Clean and/or blow out AC coils and handlers weekly.
  • Conduct weekly cleaning of the ice machine to maintain hygiene and ensure proper functionality.
  • Perform monthly cleaning of eye wash stations to ensure proper hygiene and readiness for use.
  • Perform monthly maintenance by blowing out dust from computers to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

The Facilities Operations Specialist will work closely with the team to ensure the facility is maintained in a clean and organized manner. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver License and proof of Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Must successfully complete a background check and drug test to ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Availability to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to meeting operational demands.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing ladders or stairs to conduct safety inspections and investigations.
  • Must be able to maintain professionalism when interacting with challenging managers, employees, clients, vendors, and coworkers.
