Job Title: Patient Registration Representative

At Signature Healthcare, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Registration Representative to join our team. As a Patient Registration Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient registration process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately register patients and obtain necessary demographic information, insurance coverage, and other required details.
  • Verify insurance coverage using electronic systems and maintain a detailed knowledge of third-party insurance plans and requirements.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and verification of two patient identifiers.
  • Receives and greets patients, visitors, and directs them to their appropriate destination.
  • Answers incoming calls and responds to questions regarding registration and admitting functions.
  • Assists with completion of reports, special projects, and Lean process improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-high school education in business or healthcare preferred.
  • 3-5 years of prior related experience in a hospital or medical setting or insurance company.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans/requirements.
  • Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm with accurate data entry skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Working Environment:

This is a part-time evening position located at 680 Centre Street, Brockton, MA. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
