Ambulatory Patient Assistant

The Ambulatory Patient Assistant provides basic supportive care to patients and families under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Care Manager. This role involves collecting and documenting data, performing minor specimen testing, and promoting patient safety.
Responsibilities- Performs clerical office coordination and administrative tasks as needed.
- Collects, documents, and reports vital signs.
- Completes screening questions and documents all items into the medical record.
- Promotes general patient safety and performs minor specimen testing.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- State Tested Nursing Assistant strongly preferred, not required.
- Current CPR (BLS for healthcare provider required).
