Position Overview
The Lead Manager of Vehicle Acquisition Center is tasked with implementing strategies aimed at acquiring high-quality used vehicles. This position is integral to a team that promotes a culture of data-driven decision-making, utilizing key performance indicators such as market scarcity, supply duration, and pricing metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate vehicle conditions, negotiate purchase prices, and make informed financial decisions.
- Collaborate with leadership to assess reconditioning costs and retail pricing, ensuring efficient market readiness.
- Monitor and manage essential metrics related to retail trends and participate in inventory planning.
- Coordinate with service departments to guarantee prompt inspections and reconditioning of vehicles.
- Work independently and as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize inventory management systems effectively to maintain high purchasing volumes.
- Build and nurture relationships with acquisition sources and transportation partners.
Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.

- Proven ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
- Strong technical knowledge in vehicle procurement.
- Experience in managing a high volume of vehicle acquisitions that meet company standards.
