About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Met Cap Management LLC. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in promoting sales and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Influencing Customer Buying Decisions: Educate customers on products, offers, and specials to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales.
  • Maintaining a Selling Environment: Focus on creating a customer-centric environment that encourages sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure each customer receives the best possible service.
  • Adherence to Retail Policies: Maintain a thorough understanding of and adhere to all retail policies and procedures.
  • Daily Department Maintenance: Perform tasks such as stock work, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns, merchandise transfers, and light cleaning to maintain a well-organized store environment.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
Requirements
  • Flexibility and Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Customer Service Skills: Sincere desire to work with a diverse customer base, selling novelties and apparel.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Sales and Goal Achievement: Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals.
  • Adaptability and Learning: Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Ability to receive feedback and take action when necessary.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to effectively maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, with repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing.
  • Age and Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the US.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
