Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional SIS Professional Learning Consultant to join our team at the State of North Carolina. As a key member of our Digital Teaching and Learning Division, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our customers in the implementation and configuration of our Student Information System (SIS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and setup of the SIS at regional customer locations.
  • Provide remote and on-site support to customers, guiding them through troubleshooting processes and resolving problems efficiently.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and courses to customers, including coordinating and setting up webinars and training events.
  • Design and deliver training content, including developing standard, repeatable modules, customizing training, and creating new training modules.
  • Develop evaluation processes to assess the effectiveness of training sessions.
  • Collaborate with vendor SIS trainers, support services, and customers to provide feedback on progress to district and state stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution in a discipline related to the area of assignment, plus two years of programmatic experience related to the area of assignment.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, facilitating, and/or collaborating projects with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and/or delivering professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Considerable knowledge and understanding of business systems, theories, processes, rules, and regulations and how they apply to technology in the applicable area(s).
  • Working to considerable knowledge of applicable business information systems, testing methodologies, training, business system analysis, and/or other applicable systems.
  • Working to considerable knowledge of requests, issues, and problem areas.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $94,844, depending on education, experience, and equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including employee health insurance options, standard and supplemental retirement plans, NC Flex, and paid vacation, sick, and community service leave.
