Job Description Summary

The Diagnostic Solutions Account Executive is responsible for driving sales and account management activities for BD's Diagnostic Solutions portfolio in hospitals and reference labs within the assigned territory.

This role requires a strong understanding of the clinical laboratory and hospital sales environments, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow revenue and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and account management, with a strong network of contacts in the clinical laboratory and hospital industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a territory and strategic account sales plan to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the clinical laboratory and hospital industries.
  • Effectively communicate the value and benefits of BD's Diagnostic Solutions portfolio to customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple sales opportunities and accounts to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product specialists, consumable specialists, and service engineers, to provide comprehensive support to customers.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and account management activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, biological areas, business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of documented sales success in broad range laboratory products, with a minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory and/or hospital sales experience.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple sales opportunities and accounts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
