Key Responsibilities:

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing purchase requests for quotation by approved suppliers on the vendor list.
  • Researching and identifying approved suppliers to meet the company's needs.
  • Defining and managing the list of suppliers within the vendor list, ensuring compliance with set procedures.
  • Analyzing and negotiating offers received from suppliers to ensure commercial verification.
  • Coordinating with the technical department to assess supplier proposals.
  • Preparing a summary of the final bid recommendation to be communicated with the requesting business unit.
  • Drafting terms and conditions of contracts/purchase orders in coordination with the legal and contract team.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers in accordance with internal governance and compliance requirements.
  • Performing internal and external benchmark analysis on products and market intelligence on the supply base.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • A Master's degree in Engineering/MBA or a related field is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • MUST have SAP experience.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques is essential.
  • Background experience conducting research and market analysis is required.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and networking skills are necessary.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft products suite (Excel/PowerPoint/Access) is necessary.
  • A team player with a flexible and results-oriented approach is essential.
