Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Service
    • Greet and acknowledge guests with a warm and welcoming smile, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter our bar area.
  • Inventory Management
    • Retrieve orders from the storeroom, visually inspecting the contents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Deliver orders to the bar, re-checking with the bartender to ensure all items are present and accounted for.
  • Preparation and Service
    • Cut, slice, and peel perishable garnishes and fruits, as well as mix and pour juices in sufficient quantities to meet projected business demands.
    • Store back-up supplies in designated containers, ensuring they remain refrigerated and ready for use.
    • Check and assist the bartender in maintaining adequate supplies, including stir sticks, napkins, matches, and other essentials.
  • Cleanliness and Safety
    • Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, beer lockers, refrigeration units, and storage areas, adhering to health code standards.
    • Scoop ice from ice bins, transport it to service areas, and replenish ice containers as needed.
    • Box and save empty liquor bottles for later returns and requisitions.
    • Transport and replace taps, performing routine maintenance requirements for beer kegs.
  • Sustainability and Safety
    • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to our EarthView program.
    • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Perform other duties as requested by management, ensuring a seamless and efficient operation of our bars.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Customer service experience or restaurant experience a plus.
  • Work Environment and Context
    • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
    • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
