The NEEDS Center is dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their ability to live independently.
As a key member of our team, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, delivering personalized 1:1 ABA services to clients in various settings, including their homes and community environments.
Service Areas: Primarily in Cambridge, Somerville, Peabody, and Chelmsford.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing tailored programs and behavior management strategies in accordance with individual management guidelines, IEPs, and behavior intervention plans.
- Utilizing your knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles to effectively support clients.
- Providing per diem services, typically scheduled Monday through Friday during late afternoon hours.
Experience with children on the autism spectrum is essential. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and reliable transportation is necessary for accessing residential locations not served by public transit.
The NEEDS Center focuses on delivering specialized services to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those exhibiting challenging behaviors or dual diagnoses. Our approach is grounded in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Support (PSB), ensuring that we offer the most effective support to foster independence.
Job Type: Part-time/Per Diem
Compensation: $25.00 per hour for part-time/per diem shifts
Note: Full-time opportunities may also be available, including additional hours working with adult clients in day program settings.
