Salary

The base salary for this position is between $106,988 and $147,108 per year, depending on the geographic location. In addition to the base salary, annual bonuses and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the comprehensive compensation package.

Job Description

As a Senior Electrical Systems and Project Engineer at Novanta, you will be responsible for leading mid-sized technical projects, developing project scopes and objectives, and detailed project plans involving all relevant stakeholders. You will anticipate, identify, define, and resolve complex organizational and operational problems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with significant prior electrical systems development experience. You will also need to have experience in embedded/hardware/systems development for medical devices, robotics, and scientific instruments fields. Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to effectively manage mid-sized technical projects with multiple stakeholders. You should be highly proficient in one or more engineering disciplines and project management software tools, and be able to guide and mentor others.
