Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist - Cash Handling to provide exceptional support to our Patient Finance Director. This role will be responsible for handling cash transactions, reconciling receipts, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities- Handle cash transactions, including cashier services and petty cash management
- Reconcile receipts against patient payments, checks, credit cards, and cash
- Maintain accurate records of cash transactions and reconcile discrepancies
- Prepare daily cash deposits and submit for approval
- Provide general office management functions, including filing, copying, data collection, faxing, and reception
- Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- BLS Certification required or within 2 weeks of hire date
- All other required certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire date
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Heavy physical effort to position, push and/or transfer patients or equipment and supplies
- Ability to judge distance and space relationships, see peripherally, distinguish and identify different colors
The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000 per year, based on the national average for similar positions in the healthcare industry.
