About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to lead our transportation design team in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the civil design of large-scale complex projects, with a focus on design-build delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals in the civil design of large-scale projects
  • Supervise and lead project plan production and technical reports
  • Establish budgets and schedules for project deliverables
  • Develop and manage key client relationships
  • Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts
  • Present complex technical solutions to clients
  • Perform quality control reviews of work developed by others
  • Participate in the development of technical proposals
  • Mentor, grow, and recruit staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field
  • 10+ years of experience in civil design, with a focus on utility design and WSDOT highway drainage design
  • Current P.E. license in the State of Washington
  • Experience developing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets
  • Knowledge of agency/regulatory approval process, standards, policies, and best practices
  • Client connections and relationships with local and state agencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
