About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead a team of professionals in overseeing the civil design of large-scale complex projects with a focus on design-build delivery.

This role requires a strong technical expertise in civil design, utility design, and highway drainage design, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals in civil design and utility design
  • Supervise and lead project plan production and technical reports
  • Establish budgets and schedules for project deliverables
  • Develop and manage key client relationships
  • Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts
  • Present complex technical solutions to clients
  • Perform quality control reviews of work developed by others
  • Participate in the development of technical proposals
  • Mentor, grow, and recruit staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field
  • 10+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Preferred qualifications include Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field, 15+ years of experience in civil design, 10+ years of experience in utility design, 2+ years of WSDOT highway drainage design experience within the last 4 years, and a current P.E. license in the State of Washington
