Cyber Security Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at INSPYR Solutions. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security solutions, administering security technology systems, and advising management on cybersecurity policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements security solutions to protect against cyber threats
  • Administers security technology systems, including architecting and engineering trusted systems into secure systems
  • Assists in the development of implementation and deployment plans aligned to organizational strategic plan objectives and security requirements
  • Advises management on cybersecurity policies, processes, and procedures
  • Performs activities related to CyberArk, including onboarding of privileged User IDs and managing safes, policies, and custom components
  • Develops and manages delivered integrations with CyberArk and other applications
  • Provides guidance during enhancements of the PIM solution and code/customizes the CyberArk product when needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5 years of relevant IT security experience
  • Ability to perform risk assessments and investigate cyber security incidents
  • Knowledge of hardware and software, networks, data centers, systems, and cyber security related issues
  • Proficient in ethical hacking techniques
  • Strong critical thinking ability and investigative/problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CISA certification
  • Experience with CyberArk and Application Identity Management (AIM)
