Job Title: Project Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with expertise in commercial construction to join our team at GPAC, a leading general contracting firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Coordinate and oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals and deliverables.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and identify and resolve any issues or delays.
  • Communication and Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, communicating project milestones and outcomes effectively.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment and ensuring team members are aligned with project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, with a strong track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Skills: Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project).
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
