Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at AHMC Healthcare. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care services in our acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct patient care services, including occupational therapy interventions, education, and training to promote independence and functional mobility.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient services and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current California Occupational Therapist License.
  • 2-3 months of experience in providing direct patient care.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
