Key Responsibilities of a Certified Medication Assistant:

  • Administer medications in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Assist residents in achieving optimal independence and performance in daily living activities.
  • Follow and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and document vital signs using advanced software.
  • Support residents with various needs, including personal care and mobility assistance.
  • Observe and report any changes in residents' conditions to the supervising staff.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications for the Role:

  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in Minnesota is mandatory.
  • Must possess a valid TMA certification in Minnesota.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents and team members.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • A collaborative spirit with a genuine passion for elder care and adaptability to changing circumstances.
