Job Overview:

The Customer Service Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing support, guidance, and assistance to ensure a positive customer experience. This role involves answering queries, addressing concerns, processing orders, and ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained throughout all interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate information about products, services, pricing, and policies.
  • Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude towards customers at all times.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints or escalate them to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints using the company's CRM system.
  • Support the sales team by providing information to customers and assisting in closing sales.
  • Ensure that customer feedback is properly channeled to improve overall service.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and internal processes to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving the customer service process.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in customer service or related fields are a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with challenging situations.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly on your feet.
