Sanitation Technician Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team at The SYGMA Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our warehouse facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and surrounding areas, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible and efficient manner.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and machinery.
  • Perform tasks supporting the stretch wrap and cardboard recycling program.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Work effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in a similar role or industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
