Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for assisting the cook in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring that quality food service is provided to our residents and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the cook in the preparation and service of meals
  • Place prepared food on plates/trays following tray tickets
  • Wash dishes and clean and sanitize the kitchen according to health standards
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
  • Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Specialized training in food service desirable
  • Current ServSafe certification required by State/County law
  • Food Handler's card required
