As the Assistant Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Operations Manager, overseeing the team at our designated location. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a motivated workforce that meets both personal and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment while upholding our core values and policies.
  • Capture photographs and provide guests with memorable souvenirs, ensuring a delightful experience.
  • Effectively address and resolve customer inquiries or service issues to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure that daily operations are executed as planned.
  • Lead by example, reinforcing the policies and procedures set forth by the Operations Manager.
  • Mentor and develop team members to drive revenue, minimize costs, and deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors and assist with operational needs as required.
  • Support the Operations Manager with administrative tasks, including inventory management, scheduling, training, and recruitment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Team-oriented individual who can also work independently and appreciates the significance of leadership.
  • Demonstrated time management and problem-solving abilities, with sound judgment for independent decision-making.
  • Experience in processing sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling.
  • Willingness to work during peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong people management capabilities with a passion for talent development.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and to stand for extended periods.
