About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at EPTA. As a key member of our HR/Total Rewards department, you will be responsible for executing various payroll functions, including processing weekly and semi-monthly payrolls, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process weekly, semi-monthly, and off-cycle payroll, including new hires, status changes, terminations, tax changes, wage garnishments, and other statutory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state wage and hour laws.
  • Prepare deductions and payment inputs.
  • Produce weekly financial reports; experience with reporting tools is a plus.
  • Provide payroll-related information and answer employee questions.
  • Process payroll-related invoices.
  • Run various audit reports to ensure accuracy of third-party transactions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Support supervisors/managers with timekeeping software.
  • Work certain holidays/weekends as needed due to payroll processing schedules.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma.
  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
  • Experience with payroll software.
  • Experience using UKG Ready is a must.
  • Strong Excel skills (VLookUp, pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
