Job Summary:

The Front Desk Night Clerk will serve as ambassador to the hotel, handling all check-in and check-outs, answering incoming calls while upholding Guest Service Standards. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and guest services
  • Process transactions, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records
  • Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with the Night Auditor to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Perform nightly accounting tasks, including reconciliations and balancing
  • Work closely with the hotel team to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experience

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a hotel front desk or night audit role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
