Position Overview
The Regional Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) will oversee nursing operations across three hospitals within our health system. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the CNO will provide both clinical and administrative guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care aligned with established nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Embrace and embody the mission, vision, and values of Trinity Health in all professional conduct.
2. Actively participate in strategic planning and organizational decision-making as part of the senior leadership team.
3. Develop and implement nursing strategies, goals, and standards of care for patient services.
4. Collaborate on budget development and performance evaluation metrics.
5. Ensure staffing models support safe and effective patient care through comprehensive planning and education.
6. Foster an environment that encourages shared leadership and engagement among nursing staff.
7. Evaluate and integrate healthcare technologies that enhance patient care delivery.
8. Work alongside the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Quality Officer to implement evidence-based programs aimed at improving patient safety and care quality.
9. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications
- Valid State Registered Nursing license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a relevant Master's degree; Doctoral education preferred.
- Minimum of five years of executive or director-level experience in an acute care setting.
- Advanced knowledge of nursing practices and relevant certifications required within 18 months of hire.
- Membership in a professional nursing organization.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and electronic medical records.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
