Job Title: Lead AV Technician

Inter Technologies Corporation (ITC) is a leading provider of expert audio-visual integration services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead AV Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

This is a regional travel position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to coordinate, receive, inventory, assemble, and install AV equipment on job site locations. The successful candidate will have prior AV team leadership and management experience, CTS certification, and the ability to travel on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee a team of technicians responsible for the installation of hardware components of audio-visual systems.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and direct one or more installation teams and ensure appropriate travel arrangements and accommodations when required.
  • Train and oversee level one and level two technicians working at job sites and assist them in attaining higher level certifications.
  • Maintain relationships with customer point-of-contacts at various job sites.
Requirements:
  • Prior AV team leadership and management experience (2-4 years).
  • CTS certification is required.
  • CTS-I certification or the ability to achieve certification within 3 months of start date.
  • Ability to travel on regular/constant basis and often on short notice with long/unusual work hours.
  • Strong communication skills and experience directing teams.
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with standard office productivity software.
  • Experience and comfort with hand tools, small power tools, and industrial tools.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in normal comfortable air-conditioned environments, as well as less comfortable cold or hot construction environments. On rare occasions, tasks may require work outdoors.
