Job Title: Lead AV Technician

Inter Technologies Corporation (ITC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead AV Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing a team of technicians responsible for the installation of audio-visual systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and direct installation teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
  • Train and oversee level one and level two technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Troubleshoot and repair audio and video equipment installations
  • Install and terminate cables with the appropriate solder or compression connector
  • Work in confined spaces, on ladders and lifts at heights in excess of 10ft, and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in AV team leadership and management
  • CTS certification is required, CTS-I certification or the ability to achieve certification within 3 months of start date
  • Ability to travel on a regular and constant basis, often on short notice, with long and unusual work hours
  • Strong communication skills and experience directing teams
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with standard office productivity software
  • Experience and comfort with hand tools, small power tools, and industrial tools
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds and complete ladder and other safety training

This is a full-time position with a pay range of $25.00 - $40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and in accordance with Wyoming prevailing hourly wage requirements where applicable. The job location is a regional travel position, and job sites will vary throughout the Wyoming/Colorado metropolitan areas and across the west region of the United States. Residency in proximity to Laramie, WY is preferred, but as a national company, opportunities to work at job sites across the country are also available.
