Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project installations and customer expectations by directing and overseeing a lead technician and/or team of technicians responsible for the installation of audio-visual systems.
  • Direct and oversee the installation of audio-visual systems, including electronic, hardware, and wiring components.
  • Program and commission audio-visual systems to meet design requirements and scope of work.
  • Troubleshoot systems remotely with field technicians and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Extensive and varied AV experience.
  • Achievement of CTS-I certification and Wyoming Low Voltage license.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing end-user training.
  • Proficient with Crestron Toolbox and familiar with Extron Global Configurator Plus/Pro.
  • Experience working with customer IT departments and familiarity in installation, wiring, and rack building.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to make important decisions under tight timelines and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective troubleshooting and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel on regular/constant basis and often on short notice with long/unusual work hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Audio DSP certifications such as Biamp and Q-SYS.
  • Experience with setting up and programming VTC systems.
  • Comfortable with frequent and direct written communication.

Working Conditions:

This is a regional travel position and job sites will vary throughout the Wyoming/Colorado/Montana metropolitan areas and across the west region of the United States. Residency within 50 miles of Laramie, WY is required. As a national company, work at job sites across the country is necessary when there is no work on confirmed, contracted projects in Laramie.
