About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Integration Specialist to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for integrating complex applications on Windows and Unix/Linux platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement object-oriented software solutions using Java Enterprise Edition (JEE).
  • Collaborate with our Integration and Test team to develop test procedures, test plans, and implement tests for in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components.
  • Utilize day-to-day tools such as PowerShell, Korn shell, Batch, VBScript, Groovy, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, VMWare, Oracle Database, and Oracle WebLogic.
  • Create detailed system installation and configuration instructions to support system deployment and test events.
  • Integrate hardware and software platforms with operating systems such as Windows, Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, RedHat Linux, and troubleshoot complex issues related to these systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Experience integrating complex applications on Windows and Unix/Linux platforms.
  • Knowledgeable in Linux (e.g., RHEL or Red Hat) and Windows system administration, including installing and configuring systems from the OS level up.
  • Knowledge of VMWare systems administration and installing.
  • Ability to read and troubleshoot application source code.
  • Experience in development and debugging with scripting languages.
Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with Java/J2EE and object-oriented development.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Korn shell, Batch, VBScript, and Groovy.
  • Knowledge of virtualization tools such as Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and VMWare.
  • Experience with software development infrastructure such as Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, and RedHat Linux.
