Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate MUS software on Linux and Windows based virtual machines
  • Identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to determine configuration issues
  • Proactively remediate integration problems as they arise
  • Work closely with a team of engineers to provide high quality, innovative integration services to the Government customer
  • Serve as a major contributor to technical planning process and for providing technical management and guidance
  • Conduct on-going system patching to reduce cybersecurity risks
  • Conduct testing to ensure installations and functionality is met
  • Conduct daily system monitoring, system backup and restoral, and application upgrades to ensure optimal and continuous system operations
Requirements:
  • 7 years of directly related experience
  • 3 years of management or leadership experience
  • Recent MDA experience or space experience
  • Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Sec+)
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher
Desired Requirements:
  • Experience administering a Red Hat Linux environment
  • Experience working with Cloudera products and services
  • Linux command line experience
  • Experience with writing tests to verify functionality and requirements
  • Experience with C++, Python, C shell scripting, Bash scripting
  • Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator Certification
  • Experience writing and executing Ansible playbooks
  • Experience conducting log analysis
  • Knowledge of VMware environments
  • DoD networking experience with classified data networks and strong grasp of red/black concepts and IA compliance
  • TS/SCI clearance

At Jacobs, we offer a competitive salary range of $123,000 - $148,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
