Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse LVN Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LVN to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them to recover and thrive in their own environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conducting patient assessments and coordinating care
  • Administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Documenting care provided in our system of record
  • Providing health education and training to family members
  • Communicating with physicians, clients, family members, and staff regarding patient care and concerns
Qualifications:
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience
  • Reliable transportation
