About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conducting patient assessments and coordinating care
  • Administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Documenting care provided in our electronic system
  • Providing health education and training to family members
  • Communicating with physicians, clients, family members, and staff regarding patient care
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • TB skin test (within the last 12 months)
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience
  • Reliable transportation
