Job Description

Qualified Technical Services is seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Hardware Research Engineer II to join our team in developing innovative hardware solutions for the NASA ARMADAS project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop hardware components for the ARMADAS project
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware with software and robotics systems
  • Conduct laboratory experiments and technical writing for peer review
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports

Requirements:
  • B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in aeromechanical system design and/or flight hardware development
  • CAD experience using CREO or similar
  • FEA simulation experience using ABAQUS or similar
  • Rapid prototyping, manufacturing, and/or mechatronics experience in the area of robotics

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Flight mission experience
  • Design for assembly experience
  • PCB design experience
