Job Summary

We are seeking a registered nurse to join our Medsurg/Tele team. As a registered nurse, you will work independently and provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to ensure developmentally appropriate care. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive plan of care that meets the needs of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to ensure developmentally appropriate care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive plan of care that meets the needs of our patients and their families.
  • Work independently, receiving minimal guidance.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within our team and other related teams.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
  • Basic EKG course within one year of hire.
  • Current AHA BLS Certification.
  • Current AHA ACLS Certification.
  • Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
