Job Summary

We are seeking a registered nurse to join our Medsurg/Tele unit. As a member of our team, you will provide direct patient care and work independently to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide developmentally appropriate care to patients using the nursing process
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive plan of care
  • Utilize critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills to develop and implement an appropriate plan of care
  • Advocate for patients and represent their concerns to the healthcare team
  • Accurately and thoroughly document all patient encounters
  • Ensure the protection and security of patient health information
  • Deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families according to their identified needs
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license
  • Basic EKG course within one year of hire
  • Current AHA BLS Certification
  • Current AHA ACLS Certification
  • Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Additional languages preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge
