Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is a leading healthcare provider seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Medsurg/Tele Registered Nurse PRN Nights, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and utilize the nursing process to ensure developmentally appropriate care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive plan of care that meets the needs of patients and their families.
- Work independently and make sound clinical judgments to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
- Basic EKG course within one year of hire.
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Current AHA ACLS Certification.
- Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
