We seek skilled automotive technicians who can operate independently while also collaborating effectively with colleagues. Our full-service facility is dedicated to fostering a successful work environment.

As a technician at Midas, you will take on the role of a Quasi-Partner, sharing in the profits without limits. Your earnings will directly correlate with the shop's performance.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Midas automotive technician, you will be responsible for a diverse range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks, including:

  • Utilizing advanced computer systems for diagnostics
  • Performing tire services and repairs
  • Maintaining car heating and air conditioning systems
  • Handling steering and suspension repairs
  • Replacing belts and hoses
  • Managing radiator and engine cooling systems
  • Working on batteries, starting, and charging systems
  • Conducting brake repairs
  • Performing oil changes
  • Addressing check engine light issues
  • Providing muffler and exhaust services
  • Conducting visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to repair vehicles independently while also thriving in a team setting

• In-depth knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust systems, suspension, and engine diagnostics

• Strong track record of personal productivity

• Familiarity with safety and environmental standards in repair facilities

• Experience with shop equipment, including lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus

• State-specific auto repair certifications

• Valid driver's license

• Ownership of necessary tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner/tools preferred)

• Capability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
