About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Food Safety Auditor to join our team at NSF International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting supply chain food safety inspections and audits, summarizing and evaluating findings, and communicating results with client site management or representatives.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct Supply Chain Food Safety Inspections/Audits: Conduct thorough inspections and audits of supply chain food safety systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Summarize and Evaluate Findings: Summarize and evaluate inspection and audit findings, identifying areas of non-compliance and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Communicate Results: Communicate findings and results of inspections and audits with client site management or representatives, providing clear and concise recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop Work Plans: Develop effective work plans for the completion of assigned inspections and audits within a determined timeframe.
  • Establish Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with key team members, including audit delivery and client teams.
  • Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
  • Lead Auditor Course: Completion of a Lead Auditor Course.
  • Category 20 Experience: Experience with Category 20.
  • HACCP Course: Completion of a 2-day HACCP Course with certificate.
  • Preventative Course Qualified Individual (PCQI): Completion of a Preventative Course Qualified Individual (PCQI) course.
  • SQF Auditor Certificate: Current, valid SQF Auditor certificate.
  • Relevant Degree: Relevant bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively develop professional work relationships.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
  • Tablet PC and Mobile Phone: Tablet PC running Windows 10 and own mobile phone.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • SA13 Bakery: SA13 bakery.
  • SA8 Meat: SA8 meat.
  • SA27 Packaging: SA27 packaging.
  • SA14 Produce: SA14 produce.
  • SA27 Packaging (with Packaging Cert): SA27 packaging (with packaging cert).
  • SA15 (with Canning Certificate): SA15 (with canning certificate).
