We are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to provide instructional support to students in our school district. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a teacher to deliver high-quality educational services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide instructional services to students, including working on special projects and assisting with the development of learning experiences.
- Collaborate with teachers to gather information about students and inform the development of individualized learning plans.
- Assist students in accessing instructional resources and support the creation of educational materials.
- Support related instructional work, including assisting with foreign language, art, and music programs.
- Assist students with health-related activities and behavioral needs, including implementing behavioral plans and employing de-escalation strategies.
- Proctor examinations and assist with tasks related to administration, including correcting test papers and maintaining records.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
The successful candidate must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 60 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential tasks.
