Organization Overview

Established in 2004, Brilliant Corners delivers innovative housing solutions and related services to California's most vulnerable populations, focusing on those transitioning from or at risk of homelessness or institutionalization.

We develop, own, and manage multi-family supportive housing and licensed residential care facilities, implementing a wide range of scattered-site, individualized supportive housing, and clinical case management programs through collaborations with developmental services, homeless services, veterans' services, and healthcare sectors.

In essence, we are committed to impactful work.

With offices throughout the state, we are expanding continuously.

We seek inspired, skilled individuals who aspire to be part of a team effecting significant change while enjoying the process.

Department Summary

The San Francisco Housing Platform (SFHP) encompasses a suite of programs within the Northern California Housing Services Department that provide scattered-site supportive housing and rapid rehousing for individuals exiting or at risk of homelessness.

The Housing Platform is supported by the San Francisco Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH).

The SFHP aims to provide a streamlined set of resources to assist individuals in achieving and maintaining stable housing.

To support the Housing Platform, Brilliant Corners identifies and secures housing units across the Bay Area, offers move-in assistance and rental subsidy disbursements, coordinates with case managers, and fosters neighborhood relations.

Position Summary

Housing Program Supervisors collaborate closely with the Associate Director, Program Manager, and Housing Acquisitions Manager to scale the SFHP and achieve the ambitious objective of housing San Franciscans experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Each Supervisor will oversee 4-8 Housing Coordinators and one Senior Housing Coordinator, who provide housing retention services to individuals accessing supportive housing in San Francisco.

Supervisors facilitate the onboarding of new staff, ensure consistent application of program policies and procedures, and nurture the skills of their team to deliver professional, timely support to clients and partners.

Supervisors will work with the Program Manager to conduct team meetings and provide individual supervision for Housing Coordinators.

Supervisors maintain regular communication with partner agencies (referring agencies and case management partners) to ensure that tenant care is well-coordinated and adheres to Housing First principles.
