Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, which includes:

Applying textile technology concepts related to the development of protective textiles and equipment. Examples of relevant experience include:
  • Managing high-visibility projects;
  • Operating testing equipment to ensure compliance with standards;
  • Collaborating with various agencies and institutions;
  • Analyzing data related to textile programs;
  • Resolving complex technical issues.
Educational Requirements

Applicants must possess a degree in Physics or a related field with at least 24 semester hours in physics, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to this requirement.
