Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with service line clinical operations leadership, Florida Hematology/Oncology Chiefs, and NCSC leadership to advance the strategic and business planning objectives of the Hematology Oncology service line.
  • Work closely with Strategy and Business Development, Finance, Marketing, and other key stakeholders to assess and analyze programs and services that expand the scope and geographic reach of the Hematology Oncology service line.
  • Develop and implement systems to support effective operations of ambulatory, inpatient, BMT, partnerships, and regional services across the value stream, ensuring quality of patient care services and integration with hospital goals, vision, and philosophy.
  • Support the Service Line Administrator/AVP in business analysis and data gathering related to new or expanded service line programs, services, research, and clinical performance.
  • Assist in preparing gate proposals for review and consideration by Florida executive management.
  • Develop and implement productivity goals, budgeted work Relative Value Units (wRVU) by provider, monthly spreads, clinic visits, template utilization, patient access, and other key metrics.
  • Collaborate with site administrative and physician leaders to identify, develop, and implement countermeasures to optimize performance.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, presenting summaries at Triad and Chairs meetings.
  • Participate in cross-campus collaborative efforts aimed at service line standardization, integration, and overall service line margin enhancement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of healthcare administration experience; three (3) years preferred.
  • Demonstrated record of progressively responsible administrative experience in healthcare, preferably pediatric or specialty related.
  • Experience in ambulatory care programs preferred.
  • Experience in Hematology/Oncology/BMT/Infusion service operations or administration preferred.
  • Experience in physician practice management preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare management preferred.
